Medication details

Description

Viscotears Liquid Gel Sterile Eye Drops are a trusted and effective solution for relieving the discomfort associated with dry eyes. Dry eye syndrome is a common condition that occurs when your eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly. This can lead to symptoms such as itching, burning, redness, and blurred vision.

Viscotears Liquid Gel Eye Drops provide long-lasting relief by forming a protective, lubricating film over the surface of the eye. This film helps to retain moisture and keep the eye's surface lubricated, reducing dryness and discomfort.

Directions

Wash Hands: Begin by thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water to ensure cleanliness.

Tilt Head Back: Gently tilt your head backward while looking upward.

Pull Down Lower Eyelid: With one hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

Apply Drops: Hold the Viscotears Liquid Gel Eye Drops tube upside down over your eye and squeeze it to release one drop into the pocket created by your lower eyelid. Avoid touching your eye with the dropper tip or any other surface.

Close Eye and Blink: Close your eye gently and blink a few times to help distribute the gel evenly across the eye surface.

Repeat if Necessary: If you need to treat both eyes, repeat the process for the other eye.

Replace Cap: Securely replace the cap on the eye drop tube to prevent contamination.

Storage: Store Viscotears Liquid Gel Eye Drops at room temperature and protect from direct sunlight. Ensure the tube is tightly closed when not in use.

Dosage: The recommended dosage may vary depending on your specific condition. Follow the usage instructions on the product packaging or as advised by your healthcare professional. Typically, one drop is applied to each eye 2-4 times a day or as needed.
